NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING

​The Price River Water Improvement District is accepting applications for the position of Line Maintenance Systems Operator.  Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:  operation and maintenance of the culinary water distribution system and sewer collection system, operation of backhoe and dump truck, meter reading, line repair, sampling, trench work, lifting, janitorial work, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
 
This position may require shift work, weekends, emergency calls, and holidays.  A general aptitude test and a physical agilities test will be given to the final applicants chosen.  Also, a Commercial Driver’s License with an “N” endorsement will be required within one year of date of hire, and a complete physical and drug screen will be required of the chosen applicant prior to employment.  This is an entry level position, but may be filled at a higher position with hourly wages commensurate with certification, applicable experience, and according to the District’s wage scale.  The District also offers medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as a 401K retirement program and retirement benefits.
