In order for a person to become a candidate for this position, a Declaration of Candidacy Form must be completed and filed at the District’s office at 265 South Fairgrounds Rd, Price, Utah, not later than 5:00 P.M. between June 1st – June 7th, 2023. All interested persons must meet the following qualifications: . Be a U.S. citizen . Be a registered voter . Be a resident of the District and reside in the unincorporated area of the District. Shares will be available to lease from March 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023 at the main office at 265 S Fairgrounds Rd. The cost of water shares will be $25.00 per share with a limit of 25 water shares per person.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: operation and maintenance of the culinary water distribution system and sewer collection system, operation of backhoe and dump truck, meter reading, line repair, sampling, trench work, lifting, janitorial work, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
This position may require shift work, weekends, emergency calls, and holidays. A general aptitude test and a physical agilities test will be given to the final applicants chosen. The successful candidate will work toward receiving current Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Certifications, while also working to acquire a commercial driver’s license with an “N” endorsement. A complete physical and drug screen will be required of the chosen applicant prior to employment. This is an entry level position, but may be filled at a higher position with hourly wages commensurate with certification, applicable experience, and according to the District’s wage scale could be between $17.35 – 26.70 depending on applicable experience and certification.
