NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING

​The Price River Water Improvement District is accepting applications for the position of Water Treatment Plant Operator.  Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:  operation and maintenance of the culinary water treatment plant, operation of backhoe and dump truck, chemical additions and calculations, line repair, sampling, landscape work, lifting, janitorial work, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
 
This position requires shift work, weekends, and holidays.  A general aptitude test and a physical agilities test will be given to the final applicants chosen.  Also, a Commercial Driver’s License will be required within 60 days of date of hire, and a complete physical and drug screen will be required of the chosen applicant prior to employment.  This is an entry level position with hourly wages commensurate with applicable experience and according to the District’s wage scale but may be filled at a higher position with a candidate of higher qualifications.  The District also offers medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as a 401K retirement program and retirement benefits.
